Application Example - Sewage Blower Fan at Wastewater Treatment Plant
This plant was looking for the opportunity to reduce power
consumption on its sewage blower fans and in addition reduce the
operating temperature and noise level of the gearboxes.
Energy logging before and after treatment with
Belesta LC showed a projected power saving of £1,134 per year
after allowing for the cost of the Belesta (£101). In addition
the gearbox was running notably cooler and quieter.
