Application Example - Power reduction on an HPC plant air
compressor
The maintenance manager of a large textile manufacturing
company was looking for the opportunity to reduce power
consumption on its plant air compressors. Energy logging before
and after treatment with Belesta LC2
Belesta LC2 showed a projected power saving of £1,597 per year
after allowing for the cost of the Belesta (£630). As a result
of this the customer has also treated the second of their
compressors.
Following addition of £61 of Belesta LC2 to the vehicles
engine oil, fuel savings of £719 were achieved by this ERF EC11
38 tonne refrigerated HGV unit over a five month (45,000 mile)
period with progressive improvement being achieved.
